Christmas In Malaysia

Image
I just spent my first Christmas in Malaysia and it was very nice. I had lunch with my wife on Christmas day first in a long time. We went to a Moroccan restaurant named Marrakesh and it was delicious. A nice calm day went for a little shopping and I got my wife a small bottle of fragrance and it was nice to give her a little gift in person on Christmas day. We had a nice local style coffee at D Banana Leaf and called it a day. That is it have a nice holiday season. Went to NeoCyber again today it was very interesting what I saw along the way. First thing I saw on my was a monitor lizard. OMG! I never thought I would ever see a monitor lizard in the wild. Not really in the wild walking along a suburban road. I was kinda freaked out. I know Malaysia is tropical but come on! The next animal I saw on the way was a monkey. I should say a bunch of monkeys. So there you go Malaysia is definitely a lot different than America monkeys and monitor lizards out walking around on suburban streets. Went To NeoCyber Yesterday

Went to NeoCyber yesterday and it was very fun and interesting. Visited a restaurant there called the Banana Leaf and had a coffee and a croquette. It was very delicious. Another interesting thing I saw yesterday was a Turkish grocery store. I really enjoy Turkish coffee and I was able to buy some at the this grocery store. Okay that is all for today not much going on here for now. Went shopping today and came upon something very interesting. A different kind of sugar honey rock sugar. It is made here in Malaysia and it is very good with coffee. And from what the package says it is very good for your health. Here is a little something from the package. Honey rock sugar contains cooling properties; to be dissolved in warm water; able to diffuse internal heat the most reliable of your health. So it is not just regular sugar it is something that is healthy for you. Here is something else I found out.  Honey rock sugar  is a unique  sugar  in  Malaysia . It clears liver heat, relieves cough and removes phlegm, and clears heat-toxin. It also good for gastrointestinal system and enhance immunity. I am very happy to find this and I feel very good to put this in my  coffee. Palfish vs Cafetalk

I worked for Cafetalk before and for 2 years. The relationship with Cafetalk was very up and down would be the best way to put it. I did a lot of things for this education website and received very little in return. This is a Japanese company supposedly but the behavior is so bad that it is hard to believe. This education website harassed me tried to humiliate me. This education website would write derogatory comments on your profile page if you were late for a lesson or you missed a lesson. That is very self defeating why do that to someone who is actually making money for you and you work for them not them working for you. A ridiculous company no wonder they are not really a successful education website. Now on to Palfish currently I work for them and they seem to make sense. Palfish is a smartphone app and so far it is working well for me. If something happens with the tutor and you miss a lesson for some reason or you are late they do not write a bad comment on your homepage or sus

Amazing Day In Malaysia

Image
The started out great and ended even better. We decided to go to visit Pantai Hillpark and see some old friends. It was very easy to take the bus to the train station and get KLIA train to Kerinchi and then walk to Pantai Hillpark . We had lunch at our favorite place there and saw some people that we knew and then it was time to go back to Cyberjaya. We took the 601 bus back to Cyberjaya and we stopped at Big Aeon to buy a few things and have a little something to eat. Then we were going to take the 503 bus back but that did not work out so well. After waiting for over 45 minutes I decided it is time for us walk back. Then after walking for about 40 minutes we had some good luck. A car stopped and asked where we were going I told the driver we are going to Tamarind Square in Cyberjaya. He said get in I will take you there. The driver's name was Sean and he was so nice to take us all the way to Symphony Hills where we are living now. Another amazing day in Malaysia. You can find me

The Adventure To Cyberjaya, Malaysia

Image
We started out from Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur to Cyberjaya about 2 hours south. Everything was going great we caught the bus in Chinatown really fast and we were on our way. We got all the way to our transfer stop at the Tesco Extra in Puchong Utama. We did a little shopping there and then we went to the bus stop to wait for the bus. While waiting for the bus it started to rain a little. We were waiting for awhile and a car comes up to the bus stop and a woman sticks her head out of the car and says here's an umbrella for you. I told her we are ok but thank you very much. Then she really insisted and kept on insisting so I finally took the umbrella from her. We waited another 10 minutes and then another car drove up. This time a man got out of the car and approached us. He asked me do you have the car pick up app Grab? I said no. Then he asked us where we were going. I told him Cyberjaya and he said get in my car I will drive you there. So Howie drove me and my wife all the way to

My Experiences In Japan

Image
My experiences in Japan have been amazing. I have met some of the most amazing people in the world. I have done all kinds of work here that I thought I would do ever in my life. Anywhere from working on a rice farm to working on a indigo farm. A great time in my life. I feel the farmers here in Shishikui are more like magicians because of the magic they create with what they grow. I was so blessed to be here and have this wonderful experience. My friends here in Shishikui are my friends forever. Arigato gozaimasu. Thank you very much for everything.

Interesting People

I have not written in a long time and I think I better do so today. Of course you all know I am in Shikoku, Japan a very rural part of Shikoku. I never been one much for rural life I have lived in a city most of my life. This is an amazing experience. I have made many friends and have discovered how good people really can be. For so long I have doubted that there are many good people out there. I guess you can say I am not much of a people person. It appears that I am but really I am not. I have so much experience with people that say they are going to do something but they do not do anything at all. These people I like to call the NO DOERS there are so many of them in my life. Since coming here to Shikoku I have an experience of meeting many people who do things. They do not say I am going to do that or I want to do that. They say I will do that. So I have a new faith in there are people out there that are good and I can believe them.  Don't forget to follow my blog and you can fi

Meeting More People

The more and more I travel the more people I meet. Some are so cool at least to me they are. Most of my new friends have interesting occupations or have some cool thing they can do. Like right now I am helping a woman named Ai refurbish her old home and Ai does handmade jewelry. She gets her stones from India and her jewelry looks very nice. She also does handmade macrame. Where I am living now my friend Makka is an indigo farmer and he also does designing and dyeing for shirts and cloths. His wife Miki works at a store and pastry shop she also is a trained pastry chef. On top of it all these people are all nice people. Love meeting people and making friends. Doing Things For The First Time

Image
On my journey so far I have done so many things for the first time. It is such a great experience doing that. During my life before I never really did many different things. Now I went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and traveled around there. I have harvested rice in Japan and took up a wooden deck and painted it at a guesthouse. Now I am helping to refurbish an old house.  I can never imagine I would have this kind of experience. Don't forget to follow my blog or make a comment. Meeting New People

Image
I really love meeting new people on my stay here at the Ha-Ryu-Getu guesthouse I was fortunate enough to meet a wonderful family from New Zealand. The Barr family is from Wellington and they are so nice. The father Stu loves to surf so Shikoku was ideal for him. He also is an avid runner so we had much to talk about.  We had some great conversations. They have been traveling for a long time and have seen many things so conversation can be very special with them. Their daughter Isabel is a serious reader and really really enjoys a book series called Wings Of Fire. Have a great day everyone. Ohenro-san And The Shikoku Pilgrimage

Image
Since coming to Shikoku I have been having many interesting experiences. I have also been getting some education. I have learned that Shikoku has 88 sacred Buddhist temples and many monks will walk all 88 temples. On some days they will walk up to 18 miles in one day. This truly is an amazing journey I have learned the whole pilgrimage is 750 miles long. Why Am I In Shikokuhttps://www.blogger.com/blogger.g

Well it all started with some kind of misunderstanding in Kawasaki. Then having to leave a little earlier than I thought. Then shortly after this sudden happening I had another sudden happening with my former employer or something like an employer. I was fired because of someone's word against mine and they did not believe me. They decided that I was wrong with only one person's opinion and not mine. The name of the education website is Cafetalk. They also never provided me with the proof of information against me they just said they had proof against me.  Cafetalk does not do any kind of marketing they only count on teachers who work for them to do marketing for them. Anyway enough of that just more one thing though I do not recommend this website for anything. After all of this some good friends in Shikoku came through for me with a place to stay for free. Not completely free as I do some work for them in return for a place to stay. After coming to Shikoku I have found my way

Working On A Rice Farm In Kuo Town Shikoku, Japan

I arrived on Thursday October 10 and got quickly introduced to rice farming. It was quite an experience. Where I am now is one of the very few farms that hand cuts rice. Here they grow white, red, black and green rice. To be honest this place is very fascinating and I feel fortunate to get this experience. I just to write briefly about this I have another fascinating story about why I am here. The happenings surrounding why I am here are quite interesting. So many unusual circumstances. I am going to end this here and the next blog is going to be the real story. Follow me or comment it is greatly appreciated. thank you. Bus Osaka To Shikoku

Image
I took a bus from Osaka to Shikoku and it was fabulous. I was very comfortable. There was so much leg room like business class on an airplane. The WI-FI on the bus was also outstanding and high speed. I felt like I was at home so clear and fast. The seats were so comfortable I cannot say enough about the seats. The bus ride was a little over 5 hours but it went by so fast I could not believe it. I am so pleased with this bus company and their service. I hope to travel with them again someday. Taking A Bus From Yokohama To Osaka

Image
I took a bus from Yokohama to Osaka and it was a very pleasant adventure with only one minor hiccup. I took a late night bus from Yokohama departing at 23:20. It was comfortable and clean. I was most impressed with the rest stops so clean and so organized. Arrival in Osaka was in a nice location and there was a McDonald's nearby so I get breakfast no problem. The bus was also very timely. If you would like assistance on how to make a bus reservation here in Japan or you would like me to make a reservation for you just message me here. Free Wi-Fi In Kawasaki

There are a few places that you can get free WI-FI in Kawasaki, Japan. I usually like to go to McDonald's and recently I have been enjoying a pachinko hall it is very loud there but I get free WI-FI and candy. hahaha! I just wear my bluetooth headphones and the sound goes away. There are also convenience stores such as Family Mart, 7-11 and Lawson but their WI-FI can be a little sketchy. So if you need a stable connection I do not recommend them. Being a nomad you need wi-fi all the time so I know the real deal here in Kawasaki. Free Stay In Kawasaki

Image
So I have been here in Kawasaki for a few days now and it is kind of a miracle. I have never even met this guy before. I was just putting out there I needed a free place to stay at my hostel I was staying at and someone asked this guy for me. There you go just put it out there what you need and these things can happen. Kawasaki is not exactly an exciting place but it is somewhere. Like tonight we went to go get yakitori on a Wednesday night and the place was closed. Sometimes he plays some mysterious music which I am not sure about but other than that it is an ok place. Nomad life is getting more interesting all the time. You have to be on your toes hahaha! Think quickly! If you want to know about free stays or cheap cheap stays in Japan send me a message and I can give you some ideas or maybe even hook you up. So let me know. Have a great day. Kawasaki Life

I am currently in Kawasaki City, Japan since a friend of mine who I just met gave me a free place to stay for awhile. I am grateful for this. One thing it is a little boring around here. I have also noticed that I am one of very few foreigners here. I have not experienced this in a long time. My new friend is lucky in a way he gets to brush up his English skills every day. It is kinda cool  he has to speak in English to me and he has to think of things to say in English and I help him. I am glad to help him after all he is giving me a free place to stay. One thing that I am still not used to every day he plays mysterious music  which is a little different for me. That is it for me today right now nothing so exciting at least not yet. Interesting Places To Stay I Kuala Lumpur Third In A Series Ohana Suites

Image
The Ohana Suites in Kuala Lumpur is a great place to stay. It is a hostel with many extras. They have a pool, fitness center and a sauna so you get a lot for what you pay for. I found Ohana Suites to be one of my more favorite places to stay in Kuala Lumpur. The pool especially was quite relaxing and the sauna is great too. They have a nice outdoor lounge which is well decorated with a nice view since it is on the 26th floor. You can see the Petronas Towers very well from the lounge. The complimentary breakfast is nice with a good variety of cold cereal. Overall great place to stay for $7.00 a night.  Here is their link.  https://the-ohana-suite.allkualalumpurhotels.com/en/ https://www.facebook.com/aaron.pierson.73   https://www.instagram.com/alohatc1/   https://www.linkedin.com/in/aaron-pierson-b298a8172/   https://twitter.com/alohatc1   https://cafetalk.com/dashboard/tutor/?lang=en   https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCDBwAxFP1IVnKf_WCNj1kg?view_as=subscriber

Interesting Places To Stay In Kuala Lumpur Second In A Series Step Inn

Step Inn is a nice hostel in Kuala Lumpur a little off the beaten path. It is a large hostel with two  lounges one inside and one outside. It is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The outdoor lounge is a great place to hang out and meet people or have a cup coffee and just enjoy. Step Inn also has complimentary breakfast which is really nice. It is near enough to Bukit Bintang so there are many things to see and do. It is also far enough way to avoid some of the noise and traffic of Bukit Bintang. So this place offered a little peace and quiet. Interesting Places To Stay First In A Series 21 Capsule Kuala Lumpur

I have been staying at some interesting places since I have been travelling and meeting some great people. At 21 Capsule Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia I made some great friends and I always enjoyed my stay. I even made a basketball friend there. Ali a staff member there introduced me to a basketball court in Kuala Lumpur  nearby the hotel. I had a great time. I even accidentally left my silver U.S. Navy ring there and Ali kept it for me for 15 days. The hotel is very clean and well kept. They have a complimentary continental breakfast which is nice and makes the stay even more comfortable. If you are in Kuala Lumpur this is a place stay I highly recommend it.
